YILDIRIM KIRGOZ started his career teaching Macroeconomics, Economic History and History of Civilizations at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. Then, he was a special advisor to the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Commodity Exchanges during the economic and financial crises that ravaged the Turkish economy in February 2001.


In this capacity, he had the privilege to negotiate with the WB, IMF and Turkish Government’s representatives. Later on he became the Projects Director of Turkish Economic Policy Research Institute TEPAV.


Before becoming a partner in Y3M he worked as consultant to various companies in different fields as investment and securities or maritime transport.
